On Android 4.4 or older, long exposures lowers picture resolution to 2 or 1 MP, depending models. The reason is explained here: http://www.camerafv5.com/faq.php#long-exposure-resolutionPermissions explained:- Approximate location and precise location: only used for geotagging functionality (disabled by default, and requires manual GPS activation).- Modify or delete the contents of your USB storage and take pictures and videos: required for the usual camera operation.Based on your feedback, we fixed critical issues. The highlights are:- New option to disable screen dimming while shooting picture series with the intervalometer.- Fixed corrupted images when using the synthetic exposure mode under certain circumstances.- Fixed image noise issues on the light trails mode of the synthetic exposure camera mode.- Fixed file naming options that werent working before.

Not working with video app cinema fv-5

Bought it yesterday. Every other image is a blank. Cannot get burst mode to work. Another one - table cloth is green but it is.blue in a picture. Skies are blue but come as white.... This is a promising app but still needs a lot of improvements.

Can't seem to make use of all the cameras on device

Not a review per se, but more of an added feature. It’s a great camera when using where I want the best of manual exposures. But I would also like to have a full auto mode for quick family photos.

Used free version for a while before purchasing Pro because I wanted RAW option. At first everything was fine, but recently (after about a year) RAW images haven't transfered successfully to Snapseed, which is really annoying. I uninstalled Camera FV5 app and reinstalled it, but now RAW option has disappeared. Not a happy customer.

Full featured. Easily adjust exposure compensation from the viewfinder to compensate for backlight to lighten or darken a scene.

Pretty great app. Lots of options. Intervalometer is very useful. Unfortunately can't switch to ultrawide camera on my Pixel 6.

I like Camera FV5, and have used it for some time now, and with various phones, currently a Samsung A52. FV5's interface is clear, logical, easier to see then many other apps, and easy to navigate. However, on my A52, there is a considerable lag in taking the first picture after opening the app, and thereafter a somewhat lesser lag for each subsequent picture. Trying to access the review picture in the upper right frequently leads to a crash. Maximun resolution is also only 12MP rather than 16MP

Camera FV-5 has followed me from my Samsung Galaxy 1, HTC One X, LG G2, Nexus 6, Huawei Mate 10. whilst I have used some other free and bought apps, this one is reliable, faithful - with easy access to exposure controls

Great Camera! I've used this camera on all my devices for years and love it's uncomplicated GUI. However, it's always had a video function in the past, but upon install on Moto G6 Power, I see no video option. What's up with that guys? Might be a deal breaker for me. Tell me how to video with this app again and I'd definitely give it 5 stars!🌟 Anyone know of a similar app with video function?
